Meta founder and the CEO of Facebook talked about the importance of e-Commerce and financial tools to his vision for an immersive platform Metaverse. Mark Zuckerberg shared a note to its employees on his Facebook page.
Wednesday, the news reports revealed that the company Facebook is exploring the potential of digital money referred to internally as “Zuck Bucks”.
Initially, the company was looking to create a globalcryptocurrency which was first called Libra but eventually rebranded as Diem.
As per the media platform Financial Platform, the company considers the products to include digital tokens similar to the use for video games transactions, the internet company’s version nickname is “Zuck Bucks” for those who are working on it.
In modern days many gaming platforms ask for tocke3ns as payment like “Fortnite” and “Roblox”. There would be a huge potential for tokens to be used as a payments gateway or as a reward for creators and influencers whose post draws an online audience.
Company Meta is looking fa or a diversified gain of revenue. The company is willing to change its investment strategy that targeted advertising that has provoked concerns about invading the privacy of users.
